One day we took a break from packing, unpacking, cleaning and all the work of moving and we sat by the pool and relaxed in the sun. Dallas brought along his new truck that Lovey found for him at a garage sale and he washed it pool side. The girls did pedicures on each other and even Dallas got in on that action. Now he says “Katie – toes – purple-green! It was a fun day! Toby even brought us sandwiches from Winn Co and we ate pool side!

Boise Fair!
Taking another break from the stress of moving, we went to the Fair for family home evening! It was a very fun night eating fair food, seeing the animals and riding one ride. ($) Those rides were crazy! Everyone one of them combined spinning with hanging upside down from very high elevations. No thank you!
We saw Miss Morrant from Summit School. She moved to Boise at the end of last year to be with family.
In the spirit of Idaho, we ate potato tornados and baked potato ice cream. Dallas was too short for almost all the rides, but we found a boat ride that made him happy. The animals made Megan’s allergies act up, but it was fun to see pigs and goats and cows.

Helping Tammy Move
We drove home from the family reunion via Boise so we could help Tammy move from her apartment to a 3 bedroom house. Yeah! I don’t know how much help we were. It was crazy. But the girls did a great job watching Dallas and Wes. Ryan and Chelsea came for a day and really helped out. We loaded up the truck and van and make a million trips. It was hard work but many hands make light work! The bonus was that we got to spend so much time with Tammy and Toby and the boys. That never gets old!
There is a reason that moving is one of life’s greatest stressors! It is hard!

Snowbird Family Reunion
We went to Snowbird for the Clark Family Reunion this summer. Such a beautiful mountain resort. We all had a great condo with amazing views. It was fun to reconnect with everyone for a few days. Too short! We celebrated Dad’s 80th birthday coming up this fall. And got to meet Elery, Emily, Preston, Addison, and Aric. All the new babies born since we last met! And this year Marla and David Hoover came from Tennessee so it was fun to see them again. We designed T-shirts and were able to get them printed in 2 days! CLARK PRIDE – NATIONWIDE!
It is so rewarding to see the cousins discover each other again and have fun. That is why we do these reunions after all.
