Family Photos

The guys were working on the old truck Thanksgiving weekend and we got this great idea to take our family picture with the truck! Like last year and the Steelers gear - it was just something spontaneous. Fun family photos! Tammy wanted to do Andrew's senior pics with the truck in the middle of a field - but it wasn't running at the time. So Sunday after church we all piled in and drove not too far from home and got some great shots for the Christmas card. I love the colors - red truck, tan grass and us in black. Looks like the middle of nowhere - just the angle of the camera. We are actually behind a new neighborhood with construction all around us. Even a dumpster close-by! Megan came home from school with a funny story - her friend lives close to this field and she told everyone at the lunch table that her and her mom were looking out the window and saw a cool old truck and a family taking pictures. Yeah - that was us....

I had a lot of fun with this photo shoot and we used our new Nikon. I still love my D-70 but it needs to be cleaned for sharpness so I used the 5000.

I picked this one for our christmas cards.
Wishing you TRUCKLOADS OF JOY!
I love technology - we took these on Sunday afternoon. I uploaded them that night, ordered Christmas cards and picked them up on Monday afternoon at Costco. Now that is fast and convenient!

Boys Love Trucks!

Mike and Andrew bought this 1951 Chevy this summer. Most of the body work is done and they have been slowly getting the electrical work done. They got it running this weekend - Yeah! Andrew wants to drive it to school - it is a pretty truck!
Dallas like to drive it too!

I think boys like trucks!

Ready for Baby

We can't wait to meet this little guy. He doesn't have a name yet but we already love him. I keep telling Tammy how excited I am to hold a newborn again. And at Christmas time too - a bonus! I have dreamed about him a few times even!
Tammy is worried about labor and delivery. I kept telling her it will go better. Her induction date is up in the air as of yet but sometime before Christmas. Her actual due date is Dec 26.

Enjoying Dallas at Thanksgiving

Everyone is always so glad to have this little guy around. The girls are so glad to help with baths and keeping him busy.
Grandma lets him play with fun toys like power tools.
Megan reads stories before bed and nap.

Andrew lets him wear his hat.

Melissa is a great playmate too!

Turkey Leg

Let's just say that Aunt Carol is the crazy one! This was her getting silly on Thanksgiving night. Dividing up the leftovers - anyone like the drumstick?
Oh - everyone likes the drumstick!

Hair Color - Fun with Cousins

Jenny has some washable markers and the girls are so creative - they colored their hair with them. It washes right out. So creative! They put stripes in each other's hair after dinner on Thanksgiving. So cute. Melissa doesn't often get to use hair dye because her light hair absorbs it and it won't wash out but these markers are no problem. What a great idea!
Megan did red - so pretty! On her silky straight hair it showed up really well.

Family Fun

Even though we live in the same town - life gets in the way and we don't see each other as often as we should. When Mom and Dad come and when the holidays come, we get a chance to hang out! Family fun!
Here's a shot of the girls! We just need Linda! Oh and I guess Suz and Char and Ali too!

Grandma is loving spending time with Dallas!

And Megan is the best playmate for him too.

These are the skinny cousins. Ryan and Melissa!
It was fun to see Jason again. We miss him.
