How nice to live by my sisters. Carol and Diane brought over Quizno’s sandwiches and cake to celebrate my birthday. (Good thing because it is the only cake I got!) And it was great! Thank you Carol and Diane for loving me.

St. Luke’s Women’s Celebration for Life Run
Another part of my birthday was to go down to Boise again this year to run the St. Luke’s 5K with Tammy. I went last year too. I use the word “run” loosely - we really just walked… It is an amazing feeling to be in a group of 15,000 women with so much energy and enthusiasm. I love looking back and forward and seeing a sea of women for as far as my eye can go. We got to go to the women’s show the day before and just celebrate all things women… I love sharing this with Tammy. Next year, maybe all the girls can come… One of the best parts is the guys in Tuxedo jackets waiting at the finish line to give us high fives. Toby met us in the park with the boys after the race and we shared our picnic lunch. A really great day. One of my favorite memories of Boise.

Steve and Chelsea’s Wedding
September was a crazy travel month. I was home one weekend out of 4! After we drove the piano to Boise, the next weekend I went to Utah for Stevie’s wedding. It was so fun to stay at Steve and Suzette’s and be a part of such a celebration. I love seeing all my nephew’s and nieces grow up! Carol and Linda were there too and Mom and Dad so it was a mini Clark reunion. Just missing the boys from Jersey and Diane…
It was a bonus to see Tammy and Toby too and Dallas and Wesley. I love my grandbabies!
Some of my favorite memories are… being at Steve’s to see the boys get ready. They are funny! I guess I’ve just been around brides for weddings. The grooms are funny too. Loved spending time with Steve and Suz. They have the best basement – all decked out in Steelers stuff. And sleeping in a king sized bed – well, don’t make it too comfortable guys. I’ll never leave… I loved seeing Linda’s fancy shoes from Paris. It was great to see Diane and Carol again – Geniel’s sisters. I loved seeing all the Clark kids again so soon after the reunion. Jenny, Tara and Todd and their adorable girls, Jordan, and Summer and Chris and their cute kids. I’m so glad Carol was there too. Always fun to be with family. Cool castle location for the wedding. It was just a great weekend!

Brad Paisley Concert
I surprised Mike (for my birthday) and bought tickets to see Brad Paisley in concert at the Spokane Arena. He came with Darius Rucker and Easton Corbin who I really like! So it was a great night! Mike was happy to go to the concert and happy that I bought my own awesome birthday present! I paid a little extra to sit on the floor which really means that you stand the whole time. But it was fun to be with the energetic crowds and be so close to the stage. At one point Brad Paisley came right down to within 20 feet of where we were and did some songs. He gave a great concert!

First day of School
Melissa – 7th grade Megan – 8th grade
How is that possible?
Katie is starting a killer Sophomore Year with a lot of AP classes and zero hour too. Good luck sweetie! Her friends came for breakfast – Stephanie Brown and Shannon Moore. Such cute girls.
Andrew doesn’t start Spokane Falls Community College until the 20th so we have some time together at home. It is so hard to see these kids grow up!

Tammy gets the piano
That has been our plan for a while and now it has come to pass! It just about kills me to hear her say “I wish I hadn’t quit piano lessons…”
When Mike bought me a new piano, I told Tammy that she could have our old one. But she has been living in a 2 bedroom apartment and didn’t have room. With the move to the new house, she has room! So Mike and Chet loaded it onto the back of his truck and we made a quick trip down to Boise.
It is so fun to see Dallas and Wes play with their little fingers. They love it.
Carol and John were in Boise for ball games so we met them for dinner at Texas Roadhouse. So much fun. Carol brought her camera and Dallas will actually smile for her. She has the touch!
Dallas is still loving his truck that we got for him this summer. He is loving the new house and room to run. His favorite place is in the garage, putting gas in his truck and tuning up the engine.
Wes is scooting across the wood floors and Megan is taking credit for teaching him to crawl. She worked with him every day when we were there in August.
While we were in Boise, Mike and I looked around Eagle. We have been thinking about a change and think it might be fun to live in Boise by Tammy. We found this house that we would love to build. So we are looking for property and trying to convince the kids that it will be fun!
