With all the room decorating going on, the girls were not using their white dressers anymore so I offered them to Tammy for the boys room. I decided to load them in the back of the van drive to Boise over the 3 day weekend. Melissa came with me. (I was shocked that she didn’t mind missing school!) Well, our 3 day trip turned into a week because of winter storms in the Blue Mountains. Wonderful to have a reason to stay! It was so much fun to be with the boys and Tammy for a whole week. Melissa had a lot of makeup work to do but surprisingly she had a great attitude about it! The weather down was sunny and beautiful, but that all changed in a few hours.
Road trip
I hit snow in the Blues but only for a bit. Then it was clear and beautiful. Melissa was glad to have the boys to herself!
Then we woke up to this on the morning we were going to leave…. Mother nature thinks it’s winter time!
So we decided to stay and have more fun! Tammy taught me how to use my silhouette and we made awesome projects.
Crafting keeps us sane!
I had tons of play time with the boys! We might have had a few treats….
Melissa taught them to dress up and have tea parties everyday.
Blue tried to learn to crawl… He is working on it.
I got to feed him lunch.
I was invited to a few tea parties too and to family prayer and reading books. We all laughed so hard at Wes saying, ‘Not me’ for who wants to say the prayer….
Sometimes, Wes has his own version of fashion. I like your boots Wes…
Toby and Melissa stayed busy on the ipad and the smart phones.
Finally, there was a break in the weather and we had a safe drive home. What an unexpected wonderful vacation!
