Megan and Melissa made little scrapbooks of their favorite recipes. They included recipes for treats and dinners and a little bit of everything all backed on pretty paper. I think their inspiration came from a "community time" they had in school called scrapbagging. They learned how to make mini books from paper bags and they ended up each making one for the other highlighting a special friend. They were excited to surprise each other. Hey when they are not fighting - they actually love each other. SISTERS!

So Megan put in a recipe for Peanut Butter Cups! ( I love the enthusiasm with the ! in the title of the recipe...) These are so good! She made them last night for a treat. Better than Reeses! Even Tammy liked them and she hates all peanut butter! That is saying something.....

Katie took a commercial cooking class at the Skills Center this summer to earn 1/2 credit for high school. When she takes release time seminary this year, she will end up behind on credits so she wanted to get some early. She loved the class! Came home every day excited and wanting to cook! Feel free -anytime! This is a cake she decorated and a cream pie she made from scratch. The class even counted as one of her value projects in Personal Progress so talk about multi purpose accomplishments.

I am glad for the help in cooking. Katie has even cooked entire dinners for us before. My girls are growing up!
