Megan’s First Stake Dance

Hard to believe that Megan is 14. I work with the Miamaids in Young Women’s and we welcomed her into our class by decorating her bedroom.  She went to her first stake dance.  These next 2 years will bring so many changes with stake dances, high school, social life etc.  It goes by so fast.  Megan is a beautiful young woman and she is ready for life!

She invited friends over to get ready for the dance.  (It reminded me of Tammy’s days of getting ready for dances in my master bathroom.)  There was room enough for everyone and make up and hair stuff was everywhere.  And they found a plug for music of course. Must have music…

Megan Bishop, Jenny Walker and Cassidy Ward came over -  all new Miamaids and excited about going to the dance.

Birthday Slumber Party

After the photo shoot we came home and I was off duty.  Teenagers just want to eat junk food and hang out…  Fun night!

Birthday Party Photo Shoot

Megs had the best idea for her birthday party.  She wanted a photo shoot with her friends.  We went to Mirabeau Point after school and had a lot of fun.  The rain even stopped for us!  Sophie and Melissa came along.  With 6 beautiful girls, it wasn’t hard to take a bunch of great photos!  When Megs got home, she played a slide show on the Wii on our 60” TV.  Who even knew you could do that?  WOW!

So much fun and such a creative way to have fun with friends.  It was a great birthday celebration!

Creative Hats

These boys play with these “Firemen Hats” daily.  So dang cute. 

After a week of fun, we were so sad to say goodbye :(  The girls got new T-shirts from the hotel that Tammy and Toby went to for their night away.  It was a long drive home and too quiet without the little guys.
