We had a working vacation to Boise for spring break. The girls got to enjoy the boys while I worked everyday on the new house. Are we getting closer to breaking ground? I don’t know… One step at a time I guess.
We loved lounging all day on Sat and Sun and watching conference. And it was fun to spend Megan’s 14th birthday with Toby and Tammy. We had a special birthday dinner for her before we left home (sweet and sour ribs – yummy.) But we celebrated more with Costco chocolate cake and a trip to Flying Pie Pizzeria down in Boise. (Megan always has her birthday on spring break so sometimes we’re traveling. She turned 11 in Disneyland and 14 in Boise.)
We loved having sleepovers in the living room and playing all day! We painted toes, had a Easter Egg hunt, played in the dirt, made Rice Krispy treats, climbed trees, played the piano, let Tammy and Toby have a date night, played on Tammy’s computer (without practicing the piano first). Thanks for letting us spend our vacation with you guys!
