Happy New Year!

We were feeling better by New Years so we went to Carol's for some more fun playing Harry Potter Clue. Andrew and Katie both went out with friends and Mike was not feeling up to it, so just the girls and I went out to see the Gradys. Carol's house is all decked out for Christmas. Everything was so pretty!
My New Year's Eve partners!

Carol's signature item!
Smiley face turns Santa...

Carol loves nativities like all us Clark girls. This one was one of her favorites.
The funnest game! We had a great time with Aloha - moron!

Sundance wanted to play and kept putting her head up on Megan's lap.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Carol has been telling me about this tree off of Evergreen for a few years.
This year we drove by just to see. WOW! AMAZING!
This is one. tall. tree. and it looks like it is on fire with all the lights.
It belongs on Temple Square! Such a fun neighborhood!

Trials....

This is a Christmas we will always remember. With Wes in ICU and Dallas having to be away from home - we thought that we had it tough! Then Mom got sick - really sick on Christmas Eve and just barely got through opening the presents before she went back to bed. Then a few days later, Melissa got so sick - I mean this girl threw up for 12 hours. I almost took her to the ER. Poor little thing. And then the washer broke. When it rains, it pours.

Having Fun With Dallas

While Tammy and Toby were busy with Wes in NICU, we tried to take good care of Dallas here at home by spoiling him and playing with him every minute. Thank goodness for cell phones. We called and sent videos and pictures everyday. Dallas loved seeing his Mom and Dad and he always kissed the phone when they called or sent a video.

While Dallas was home with us, we tried to teach him about babies!
He found a way to get a car involved with all the dolls. 100% boy!

He learned to climb stairs and we took down all the gates.

He always loves to play the piano when he comes to Grandma's house.

The big Legos were so much fun! Everyone was building with them.

Megan was creative in her feeding efforts.
We slept in every morning too.

One day we got a little snow so Megan took him out to play.
We decided he needed some snow gear that actually fit him!

So Mom went to Value Village and found some good stuff.
This Baby Gap coat was a great find and it had the name of our friends on the tag!
Thanks Yost family!
Aren't these cute boots? And he loved the red snow pants.
Now he can go out and play.
We loved making pancakes and waffles. Megan and Melissa let him stir and taste the batter. YUM!

And Grandma makes him little tiny pancakes with chocolate chips in them.

It was so hard to be away from his Mom and Dad but we kept him distracted and happy.
I flew home with him on Jan 2, and when he saw his parents he made a little sigh/laugh and ran to them in the airport. He was so happy to be home again!

Band Hero

Santa was nice enough to bring several Wii games so we have been having fun with them. The girls are teaching us all how to play rock band! We played the night before I left and like 3 hours went by so fast. Lots of fun!

Merry Christmas!

Oh the quiet of Christmas Eve with everything in its place.
All the presents wrapped and placed neatly under the tree.
All is calm... GOOD MORNING - CAN WE GO DOWNSTAIRS???
Santa found Dallas and brought him a cool race track!Hey, I know how these cars work - I can shake them.

Grandpa and Andrew are having fun too! We built some awesome tracks.

Santa also brought some fun "Pop Culture" magazines and the kids were loving it.
Even Andrew was doing some light reading.

Poor Annie - she is not allowed in the front room so she stretches the rules.
"Hey - every year you all have a party in here and I can't come."
Mike went shopping and was the first to wrap presents and put them under the tree. Thank you honey. He had some fun at the Coach store in Seattle.

This used to be Melissa's favorite drink....
but she got sick after Christmas and will probably never ask for it again.
That happened to Tammy with peanut butter....

Katie's all time favorite gift - a CV Bears shirt. She didn't take this off for several days.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
