Fudge Surprise!

I love how my girls love to cook and they are getting so independent. I came home from a band concert with Katie one evening and they said "Hey Mom, do you feel like fudge?" They had made fudge while I was gone. They got out my favorite recipes book and used Aunt Linda's never fail fudge recipe. And it was good! Making fudge is pretty exact - I mean you have to boil it for 6 minutes and use evaporated milk. I didn't even know they knew what that was. Not an everyday recipe and they did it - all alone!
Surprise!
Andrew thought it was pretty good too - half the plate is gone!
I always tell my girls what my Grandma Hunter told my own mother when her brothers would eat all her cookies. She would say, "But how would you feel if no one wanted to eat them?"
At least we know it is tastey!

Glad SOMEONE made fudge this year. I never got around to doing it. The marshmallows and evaporated milk are still in the grocery bag...

Maybe Valentine's Day fudge?

It IS a good recipe, isn't it?

Love, Linda
