November Fun

November fun includes the last of the leaves.  These trees seem like they are on fire when the sun hits them.  So beautiful.  It seems they fall in one day, after a big wind and rain storm.  I  hate to see them go.  Although the first part of winter sneaks up on us mixed up in Thanksgiving and Christmas preparations.  We hardly pay attention to the cold during the holidays.  Then January hits and we realize how long it's been since we've seen the sun.  So I notice the beautiful fall colors as long as they last.

Crazy sisters.  These are the kinds of snap chats and texts I get all the time from them.  I think they are enjoying Just Chillin' frozen yogurt here.  Megan had her good friends Izzy and Rachel over to make rainbow cake.

Of course the holidays mean more crafting opportunities with the Silhouette.  I saw this subway art on Pinterest and made my own version.  What will I do when my sisters get sick of my gifts....

Early snow... It is beautiful even if it is on my pumpkins.  Tammy got a big storm in Utah and she called remembering the book we read when she was little.  The snow kept on falling.  It was kinda like that for her.  BIG STORM, LOTS OF SNOW>

Lots of fun with the Young Women.  I'm so blessed to be with Megan and Melissa in the Miamaids.  We made Thanksgiving pies for the Hope House.  The girls went with me to deliver them and we got a dose of gratitude for our living conditions.

Julie has been so busy with Kyla.  She needed help with Kasen so we had a great day playing together.  He is soooooo adorable and well behaved.  It warmed my heart when he grabbed my hand when he saw me later in the month and pulled me to come play with him again.

Katie and her friends.  She has movie and games nights a lot.  Stephen helped her shop for glasses when he was home for Thanksgiving.  She also gets letters from her friends on missions.  It's fun to get mail from Mexico...

Megan's beautiful long  hair and cute pockets on those jeans!

Happy Halloween

Love this time of year.  The fall colors are so pretty and Halloween is just fun!  It has become a tradition to have Carol come and spend it with us - and she is always so FUN.  Love her!
I made some cute new decor because.... I am addicted to vinyl....
Melissa found a cute card that she gave to her French teacher.  She has the gift of tongues because she has rocked that class!

Then the kids all did fun stuff on Halloween night.  Andrew had a dumb party to go to and his costume was a camera man for an inappropriate show called girls gone wild.  he begged me to make him a t shirt.  I compromised my standards and made him one but I did it out of temporary vinyl so it was a one time wear.  Cardboard paint and duct tape video camera.  Very creative Andrew.
Katie worked hard for the food drive... She and Austin filled the van!
The girls actually stayed home and handed out candy.  Somehow they ended up on the roof!  That was the high light of the night.  Crazy teenagers!  Love them....

October Fun

October passes so fast.  I love the fall and getting back to a routine in school.  Lots of fun this fall.  Melissa started Gymnastics at Northwest and she loves it.  It didn't take her long to learn to do a back flip and she's on her way!  Funny how I don't have to remind her to practice these skills!  Unlike piano...  We found a cute leotard on line.  She loves it.

Lis designed a cute sweatshirt with a logo that she loves but can't bring herself to pay for.  So we made this one night.  We like  the back detail the best!  Funny story, her friend LOVVED it and kept asking where Lis got it.  Lis just said, "Oh my Mom got it for me...."  She said she had looked in all the stores and even had her mom look in CA when she was there but still couldn't find it.  Finally, Melissa caved and told her that we made it with my Silhouette.  $5 instead of $45 is more in our budget.  Are we cheating????  She remembered how much her friend loved it and made her one for her birthday.  Cute Lis.

Tammy sent me a cute Hello for my door.  She is having fun with her Silhouette too.

These were so fun to make for Kyla.  Julie will have to wait awhile to give them to her because she is still in NICU with issues.  Not fun!  We know that drill....  I also made some cute stuff for my neighbor who had a new baby.  HTV is so great.  Now I know why Tammy loves it.  It is way easier than vinyl.  Love doing t-shirts and stuff.

I love using my Silhouette for holiday décor.  These chargers were at Walmart for $3.00 and I got the vinyl for free as scraps from a shop, so I made these for my VT sisters and my real sisters. :)

I sent a care package to the boys with t shirts and fun stuff.  I miss them.  Dallas always says BOO_YA.
Super Saturday with Carol and Diane... Cute cute sign for birthdays.
Pinterest love..... it does suck away time but I have found some fun stuff.

Fall is such a fun time.  The world is so beautiful.  I love to watch our Maple tree change colors and take the same pictures year after year because I'm sure I've never seen it be so beautiful before!  This year is the election and Carol got me a sign for the yard.  GO Romney!!! So hard to see the country make such a misguided choice in Obama.  So frustrated to see the majority choose evil.

Megan has been busy at school.  That girl is a happy, involved Sophomore!  I am so proud of her and her excitement about ColorGuard, school activities and seminary and just being a part of the CVHS community.  She is an outstanding girl.  Such an example of goodness inside and out. I love watching my daughters and feeling so proud of who they are and the choices they make.

Cannot believe that this girl is a senior. Can I protest?  This girl cannot be a senior already!!! She bought a senior sweatshirt and looks so cute.  I so wish I could stop time and enjoy her childhood for several more years.  I am so proud of all she had accomplished.  Katie is an outstanding student, leader and responsible daughter.  I can count on her for anything.  She is logical and driven and follows thru on so many good things.  I love you Katie.
