The girls were in their black and gold this morning for school. It is NFL day at Summit School.
Exciting because :
1. Logos are not usually allowed with the school dress code but they get to wear them today.
2. And obviously because we are the Steeler family! All year long the girls talk about their Steeler pride and today they get to wear it.
I even allowed black nail polish tastefully mixed with gold - as long as it is in the name of Steeler pride. We love these guys! Bring on the Superbowl!We are excited for the Superbowl this Sunday. Let's go Steelers!

Yessssss! You need to coach my wayward Arizona residents on supporting the right team.
So what if the "local" team is going to the SB for the first time, don't you think my kids should forget their fear of death at the hands of rabid Cards fans and show their STEELER PRIDE?!?
Oh, well, guess I'll just have to rub-in the Steeler's SIXTH SUPER BOWL VICTORY in a few days... Hahaha. Go Steelers!

I am scared to openly support Steelers here in Arizona! I'm serious. In the news there is just story after story about people houses and cars getting vandalized if they are Steelers fans. We do support the Steelers, just quietly. :-) People here in Arizona a crazy supportive, though. It's kind of funny how serious some of these locals are taking it. It should be a fun game to watch.
