Katie goes to Prom

Lucky Katie was asked to the prom as a junior!  She went with her friend Stephen Braun.  Such a nice guy!  She works with him at Dairy Queen, (he got her the job!)  and they have AP Euro together. 

He made an awesome video to ask her and showed it during seminary.  It ended with him running down the street with a rose, into the seminary building and then the video stopped and there he was in real life, down on one knee asking Katie to go to prom.  Every girl wanted to be Katie that day!  We have enjoyed getting to know him, he is a true friend.  Katie looked so fabulous in her pink dress.  Julie came and did her hair and make-up.  What a talent that girl has!

We ran up to the Walkers to check on Jayna too.  She was getting beautiful as well.

They went downtown for pictures and dinner and Stephen’s Mom got some great photos.

Katie is a beautiful, sweet, smart and responsible daughter.  We are so proud of her and the choices she makes.  Love our Katie bug!
