Happy Mother’s Day!
Look at these wonderful Clark women… I love my sisters and my mom. I think I can speak for all of us girls when I say…..
I am what I am because of my Mom. She chose me (and 7 others) to be her life’s work. She raised me with love more than with words, with chores more than with material gifts, with laughter and jokes more than with delivering lectures. I am her legacy, her mark on the world. And everyone I teach and touch and influence will hear her words and ideas all over again. I love my Mom – she made me.
Because of Mom…
…I love to laugh.
…I cook every night for my family and we sit down for a meal together.
…I make cookies from scratch.
…I do the dishes – I just can’t leave them in the sink.
…I separate laundry and sort the colors.
…I love to play the piano.
…I plant flowers and feed the birds.
…I can sew.
…I accept church callings – even hard ones in leadership.
…i read my scriptures.
…I put on makeup and do my hair everyday.
…I talk to strangers.
…I make my bed everyday.
…i do my visiting teaching.
…I send cards for holidays.
…I wear pretty nightgowns.
…I play with my grandkids.
…I cry when my kids grow up.
…I cry when I say good bye.
…I love being a Mom.
Happy Mother’s Day Mom. I love you!
