Fun in May

New Milk Jugs

DSC_2040 DSC_2041

Hate Costco’s new milk jugs.  They all have white caps so we have to mark them so the kids know which is the “blue” milk that they drink.  (they don’t want Mom’s skim milk…)  Had to laugh out loud at the creativity of this one.  “I’m Blue, Dabo- Dee – Daboo – Da.”

Stake Dances

Katie invited some school friends to a stake dance.  Brianna came and did her hair.  Poor Bri couldn’t go because of stitches in her head…. Katie has good friends.

Clay Project for School

Megan wanted to call this “fake and bake gone wrong…”  She had a clay project to do for school – building a model of a volcano.

Megan in the kitchen

Megan loves to follow recipes and make things in the kitchen.  Not so much for eating as for the mixing and making a mess….  A true scientist I guess.  This was fabulous lemonade – made from real lemons, milk, club soda and lots of sugar!  And she followed the recipe exactly – including sugar coating the rim of the glass – soooo yummy – and a beautiful slice of lemon as an accent.

Oh goodnes, I hope they don't do that to the milk here! We buy 3 different kinds. (Whole, 2% and skim.) That will make things so confusing. Everyone is just used to the color of lid. Looks like you are having a fun summer. We wish we could have made it out there when Isaac when in Spokane, but the doctor won't let me travel. :-( We would have loved to see everyone. (Isaac's grandmother passed away, sorry he didn't drop by to say hello . . .)
